Ziga is a secret society of demons who have began to search for a device that is rumored to unlock the pearly gates. Unfortunately, they are missing one single piece to the puzzle, the key.  

Tyler, a loner but very witty individual, is having a tough time in his relationship with Miley. Miley is a very ambitious and determined teenager with her sights set on soaring through life. While their love isn't new, their problems are. Recently Miley has discovered that she cannot travel and maintain a relationship, while Tyler is realizing that his relationship with her is all he truly has right now. During one afternoon in Randallstown, Tyler finds himself left with a curse after Miley and he are nearly killed by a bengal. This curse has attracted Ziga, and immediately they begin to seek him out in effort to take his life. 

Before they can acheive their goal, the Apostles intercede. Saving Miley and Tyler just before they are killed by a demon of the clan, they flee off only to learn how much of a role the two actually play. While they try to determine why Ziga wants Tyler dead, they discover a dark secret about Miley and her family history. As more information pours in, Tyler and Miley learn that if they want to live, they will have to help the apostles figure out what is going on, and they must do so before Ziga managers to kill Tyler and proceed with their plans to invade heaven.
